Elderly Couple Beaten By 37-Year-Old In Medford Over MBTA Train Seats

A woman was arrested for attacking an elderly couple when they asked her to move her bag, officials say.

Krysten Kulch, age 37, punched a 76-year-old couple multiple times with a closed fist at the Wellington Station in Medford around 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, according to MBTA Superintendent Richard Sullivan. 

The victims told police that they simply asked Kulch to move her bag so they could sit together when she attacked them.

Kulch was charged with two counts of assault and battery on an elderly person. 

The couple were not injured in the assault.
